Basketball and streetwear have been long intertwined, even more today as the NBA tunnel turned into a fashion runway. If NBA 2k already has a number of pretty dope cultural mashups, from Spike Lee directing the game cinematics to Jay-Z curating the soundtrack, it is now enabling top streetwear designers to drop their virtual drip inside the game. Building on the fashion integrations from last year, NBA 2k21 collaborated even more closely with a solid selection of partner brands, from BAPE to Chinatown Market or Palm Angels, for a series of exclusive custom items, shoppable through the in-game apparel stores of the game.
