Rainbow Fluft Pride
Since 2018, Riot Games has started a tradition of celebrating Pride, with most notably the Rainbow Fluft, an icon that let League players show their support for LGBTQIA+ communities, leaving a sparkling rainbow trail in-game when equipped. In 2021, the publisher stepped up its efforts by releasing Rainbow Fluft across every game of its portfolio (League, Valorant, TFT, Legends of Runeterra, Wild Rift). Riot also highlighted the cause through Pride-themed merch, streaming events and activities during esports tournaments. Riot also continued its support for The Trevor Project and It Gets Better Project by splitting a $100,000 donation between the two charities.
